Quit serving text with images already

TechRepublic Australia Wrapper

Editor's note
It's 2012, and yet all too often we see blurry text full of artefacts from JPEG compression. Check out our piece on it this week for a couple of examples, and why you should also double-check locations returned by geographical services. Next week, ZDNet is running a panel on December 4 in Sydney, which will discuss the perspectives of tech leaders on being marketed to. If this topic interests you, send us a question you want answered or even nominate yourself to join the panel. Email your interest to chris.duckett@techrepublic.com to have your say or nominate. Have a good week, everyone. -- Chris
